Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, following established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Support food service operations by serving dishes promptly and courteously to guests or team members
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone in the kitchen




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely delivery of orders

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a solid understanding of kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques to prevent contamination
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards guests or team members
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Familiarity with meal preparation processes and the use of kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, knives, and mixers
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Prior food industry or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued
