We’re looking for a Student Counselling Intern to join our growing private therapy practice in Fergus, Ontario. This is an opportunity to gain meaningful clinical experience in a supportive, relationship-focused practice with ongoing supervision, weekly consultation, and the potential to transition into paid employment after your internship.

We’re looking for someone who values genuine connection, depth, integrity, and continued growth in their work. If you are self-aware, open to feedback, dependable, and genuinely curious about your clients and the therapeutic process- we share the same values!

Requirements

- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counselling or a related field
- Completed coursework in counselling theories and techniques
- Commitment to 8–12 client sessions per week, including evenings or weekends

The placement is in person in Fergus and is expected to begin in January. If you are looking for a secondary placement site and need to begin sooner, there may be an opportunity to start earlier. You may be a great fit if you are:
