Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections and order placement
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash or card payments
- Prepare food items according to established standards, maintaining quality and presentation
- Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and customers
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including food prep stations, utensils, and equipment
- Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash handling and balancing at shift end




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order totaling
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a quick-paced environment
- Previous restaurant experience or serving background is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers confidently
