Counter Staff – New Store Opening

Szechuan Express – Bramalea City Centre, Brampton, ON

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Pay: $17.60–$25 per hour

We are hiring friendly and reliable Counter Staff for our new Szechuan Express location at Bramalea City Centre.

This role is a excellent fit for someone who enjoys working with customers and can stay organized in a busy food court environment. Previous restaurant, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred, but training can be provided.

What You’ll Do

- Greet customers and provide friendly service
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Answer questions about menu items
- Serve food and package orders
- Process cash, debit, and credit card payments
- Keep the counter and service area clean and organized
- Restock utensils, packaging, and other supplies
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Work efficiently during busy periods
- Support other team members as needed

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous restaurant, food court, cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Positive communication and customer service skills




- Comfortable speaking English with customers
- Mandarin, Chinese, or Filipino language skills are an asset
- Friendly, dependable, and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable using a POS system and handling payments
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

- Full-time and part time positions available
