Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and swiftly
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service across all day parts
- Support team members with food preparation, serving, and cleaning tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety practices is a plus
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and inventory management
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and proper food handling standards in the food industry
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
