Join our dynamic cultivation team as a Cultivation Technician and play a vital role in nurturing healthy, high-quality plants. As a key contributor, you will support the growth cycle from propagation to harvest, ensuring optimal plant health and productivity through diligent care and maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Assist with watering, feeding, and monitoring plant health using proper irrigation techniques

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cultivation areas, including trimming and pruning plants as needed

- Operate hand tools and basic mechanical equipment to support plant care activities

- Implement pest management strategies and identify signs of disease or deficiencies in plants

- Support plant propagation processes, including cloning and seedling care

- Conduct routine inspections of cultivation infrastructure, such as irrigation systems and grow lights

- Lift heavy containers or supplies safely to support ongoing cultivation operations

Requirements

- Knowledge of cannabis horticulture principles and gardening best practices

- Experience with proper hand watering and basic mechanical knowledge is preferred





- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively in a cultivation setting

- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and record keeping

- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working in a fast-paced environment

- Passion for cannabis and sustainable plant cultivation techniques

- Ability to efficiently collect and report data, use basic computer skills

Important Details to Note

- You’ll need to be at least 19 years old and legally authorized to work in Canada.

- Tasks involve working with cleaning products, wearing protective equipment, and exposure to plant materials (not suitable for individuals with related allergies or sensitivities).

- The work environment is conditions typically found in a greenhouse warm, humid conditions with varied lighting.

- All successful candidates are required to pass background checks

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
