Ayr Welding is growing and looking for an experienced Custom Welder-Fitter to join our team in Ayr, Ontario. We fabricate custom industrial piping assemblies and metal fabrications for clients across Ontario. For more than 40 years, Ayr Welding has provided welding, fabrication, process piping, and industrial project services. Our team takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and solving challenging fabrication problems for our customers.

This is a permanent shop position ideal for a welder-fitter with approximately 3 to 5 years of experience who enjoys custom fabrication work, blueprint reading, problem solving, and producing high-quality finished products.

What You'll Be Doing

- Fabricating and fitting custom piping assemblies and metal components.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication details.
- Fitting pipe, flanges, supports, and structural components to drawing specifications.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Working safely and contributing to a clean, organized fabrication shop

What We're Looking For

Required

- 3 to 5 years of welding, fitting, fabrication experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Strong measuring, layout, and fit-up skills.
- Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team.

Preferred Assets

- TSSA tickets
- Experience with industrial piping fabrication.
- Experience with SMAW, GTAW (TIG), and GMAW (MIG) welding processes.
- Pipe welding experience.
- Positioner experience.

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
