e are a premium wig boutique looking for a talented, detail-oriented Wig Colorist. This specialized role is dedicated entirely to custom coloring, multi-tonal blending, root-shading, and reviving high-end human hair wigs and toppers.

Core Responsibilities

- Custom Coloring: Formulating and executing complex color work (balayage, money pieces, root smudges, lowlights) specifically on alternative hair.
- Base Protection: Applying chemical formulations safely without staining delicate Swiss lace, silk, or mono-mesh bases.
- Textural Treatment: Safely managing lifted levels on heavily processed or donor hair while maintaining the integrity and hydration of the hairpiece.
- Color Correction: Neutralizing brassiness, matching client color swatches perfectly,



and restoring faded or oxidized alternative hair units.

Requirements

- 2+ years of dedicated experience coloring human hair wigs, toppers, or extensions.
- Deep understanding of how alternative hair processes differently than natural, growing hair.
- Flawless precision in root-shading and avoiding knots/lace bleeding.
- Portfolio Required: Applications must include transparent photos showcasing your coloring work on wigs or hairpieces.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 6.0 per week
