About the role

We're looking for a friendly, reliable Customer Service Representative to join our team at Pioneer On the Run. You'll be the first face customers see, handling fuel and convenience store sales, lottery, and keeping the store clean, stocked and welcoming.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide rapid, friendly service at the till
- Process fuel, convenience, lottery and age-restricted sales accurately using the POS system
- Check ID for age-restricted products, including lottery, tobacco, vape and alcohol
- Sell and validate lottery tickets in line with OLG procedures
- Handle cash, debit and credit transactions, and balance the till at the end of each shift
- Stock shelves, coolers and coffee stations, and rotate product
- Keep the store, washrooms, pumps and forecourt clean and tidy
- Monitor the fuel pumps and respond to customer needs or safety concerns
- Receive and check deliveries as needed
- Follow all health, safety and security procedures





Qualifications

- Previous customer service, retail or gas station experience is an asset; training is provided
- Must be able to commute to site
- Must be of legal age to sell lottery, tobacco and alcohol in Ontario
- Smart Serve certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Comfortable handling cash and working with a POS system
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Clear communication skills in English
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
