Duties

- Assist trainers during daily dog training sessions and socialization time, ensuring all dogs are properly managed and engaged
- Safely handle dogs during training activities, including walking, socializing, and basic obedience exercises
- Support with cleaning and maintaining training areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for dogs and staff
- Monitor dogs’ behavior closely, noting any signs of stress or discomfort, and communicate observations to trainers




- Provide excellent customer service by answering client questions politely and professionally

Qualifications

- Prior experience working with dogs is preferred but not required; a deep curiosity for understanding dog behaviour and eagerness to learn is an asset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or energetic dogs
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with trainers and clients
- Reliable, energetic, and motivated with a positive attitude toward teamwork and learning
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the day
- Willingness to follow safety protocols diligently to ensure the well-being of both dogs and staff
