Elite Machining Ltd. is a Calgary-based precision CNC machining company producing high-quality parts to customer specifications. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deburring and Part Finishing Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing machined components to meet quality standards, ensuring that all parts are free of burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections.

Your expertise will help maintain the highest levels of product quality contributing directly to our production efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining equipment and develop your skills in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

- Inspect CNC-machined parts for burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections
- Deburr, polish, and finish parts using hand tools, rotary tools, abrasives, and other finishing equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and quality specifications to apply the correct edge breaks and finishes
- Handle parts carefully to prevent scratches, dings, or damage
- Work with CNC machinists and Quality Control to resolve part issues or finishing concerns
- Verify that finished parts meet visual and dimensional standards
- Record completed work, report non-conformances,



and contribute ideas for improving our process
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications

- Proven experience in manufacturing or machining environments with knowledge of deburring and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills for precise measurements
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and abrasive equipment used in part finishing
- Experience with quality control procedures including inspection techniques using calipers or gauges
- Strong attention to detail combined with positive communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Able to work independently, manage priorities, and stay focused on repetitive, precise tasks
- Able to communicate clearly in English, both speaking and listening
- Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Able to lift 30 to 40 bl
- Background in operating CNC machines
