Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight and goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and asset protection records for accountability




- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or specialized tools required for freight handling when needed
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing customer inquiries courteously

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation, commercial driving, or related fields preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, or other machinery safely and efficiently
- Basic automotive repair knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with customers
