Duties

- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a friendly atmosphere from the moment they walk through the door
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient communication
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic
- Prepare and organize patient charts, treatment plans, and billing information with precision and attention to detail
- Handle administrative tasks including appointment reminders, check-in/check-out procedures, and processing payments
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols




- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and support office operations

Experience

- Prior experience working as a Dental Receptionist or in a busy dental or medical office environment is highly preferred
- Proficiency with Dentrix dental practice management software, Epic electronic health records system, and familiarity with Medical terminology is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of office procedures including multi-line phone systems, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and insurance providers
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office setting that requires multitasking and organizational excellence
