Oral Surgery office looking for a full-time Dental Receptionist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, patient records, and administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth daily operations within our office. Candidates must also have experience in Dental Assisting and be HARP certified.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using the dental management software Tracker
- Verify patient insurance information and process billing accordingly
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
- Answer phone calls promptly, address patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient care and treatment schedules
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
- Handle payments and process transactions efficiently
Skills
- Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Tracker
- Previous experience with dental assisting a must
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
