Job Summary

Join our dedicated team as a Dietary Aide/Server, where you will play a vital role in delivering nutritious meals and exceptional service to residents in a Retirement Residence setting. Responsibilities

- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation to ensure attractive and nutritious offerings.
- Serve meals to residents with professionalism, kindness, and attention to individual dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, kitchens, and food handling stations.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling, cleaning, and organization tasks as needed.
- Help manage meal schedules efficiently through effective time management and coordination.




- Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with residents, listening to their preferences, and addressing any concerns promptly.

Experience

- Previous experience in Retirement Residences, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and food service operations is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Experience in customer service roles that require patience, empathy, and clear communication.
- Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and kitchen safety regulations is advantageous.
