Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to keep the kitchen running smoothly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, sinks, dishwashers, and storage areas in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen managers to support meal service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination
- Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant or hotel dining area by assisting with waste disposal and recycling efforts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all items are ready for use during busy service hours

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Robust understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards

- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
