Responsibilities

- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to support smooth service flow
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently to uphold cleanliness standards
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling and sanitation regulations




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service hours

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not necessary
