Duties

- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly to uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supplies for meal service
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Support the kitchen team during busy meal times by helping with food handling and serving when needed




- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed to promote sustainability
- Restock supplies and assist with organizing dishware and utensils for efficient workflow
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation to prevent contamination or accidents

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and proper handling of kitchen tools and equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing workspaces
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adhere to health regulations
