We’re Hiring: Dock Worker / Dispatcher

Looking for a great opportunity in the transportation industry? Cobra Freight Services Inc. is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Dock Worker / Dispatcher to support our dock operations and coordinate pickups and deliveries.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on work environment, communicates clearly, and can keep operations organized while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate professionally with customers and drivers, providing timely updates and responding to inquiries.
- Assist with loading, unloading, sorting, and organizing freight.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and dispatch information.
- Help resolve delivery issues and keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Follow protected freight-handling practices and maintain an organized dock area.
- Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous attitude.
- Strong spoken and written English for customer communication, dispatch instructions,



and shipment documentation.
- Good knowledge of Delta, Metro Vancouver, and surrounding cities, including local roads and routes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with dock work.

Transportation or courier industry experience and familiarity with Courier Complete software are assets but are not required. Why Join Us?

Compensation: Based on experience

Employment type and schedule: Part time with opportunity for permanent full-time for the right candidate

Pay: $18.25-$25.70 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
