Summary The Draftsperson is responsible for drafting production tickets & design intent drawings for custom pre-cast terrazzo components such as (but not limited to) stair treads/risers, wall base, tiles & panels.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Manager/Operations Manager and working with the production team, the successful candidate will be able to (but is not limited to):

- Draft production tickets (shop drawings) and design intent for our scope of work (stair treads/risers, wall base, tiles & panels) based on architectural drawings and/or field measurements.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, consultants and the internal production teams regarding project details.
- Manage and switch between multiple projects simultaneously, working in a fast-paced environment.
- Organize and archive project deliverables and other content throughout all stages of the project.

Qualifications/Skills

- Education or background in Drafting, Architectural Technology, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.




- An understanding of construction and the construction industry and the ability to read & interpret architectural drawings, specifications, addendums & change orders.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Software Skills

- AutoCAD or equivalent 2D computer drafting software (3D drafting is a solid asset)
- Estimating/Takeoff software (PlanSwift 11)
- Project management platforms (ProCore, Invitely Prime, Fieldwire, etc.)
- SignMaster
- Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/Word)

Not all experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
