We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Taper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to create smooth, professional walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help transform raw construction spaces into polished environments, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities
- Apply joint compound (mud) to drywall seams, corners, and screw holes to achieve a seamless surface.
- Sand and smooth finished drywall surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing work.
- Install drywall panels according to blueprints and project specifications, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
- Perform caulking around joints and edges to seal gaps and enhance finish quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute drywall installation and finishing tasks.
- Assist with carpentry tasks as needed, including framing or minor repairs, demonstrating versatility on-site.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience in drywall finishing or taping is highly preferred; .
- Knowledge of construction processes, including blueprint reading and drywall installation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with caulking, sanding, and surface preparation for painting or coating applications.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and working with power tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in rapid-paced environments.
