We are looking for a reliable and hardworking DZ Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a Monday to Friday position with steady hours and opportunities for overtime.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, completing deliveries and pickups, and assisting with loading and unloading materials. This position involves heavy lifting and physical labour, so candidates must be comfortable with physically demanding work.
Forklift training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate DZ-class and or AZ -class vehicles
- Complete deliveries and pickups in a timely and professional manner
- Load and unload materials, including heavy items
- Perform heavy lifting and physical labour throughout the workday
- Complete daily vehicle inspections
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
- Provide professional customer service
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver's licence
- Clean and reliable driving record
- Previous commercial driving experience is an asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical work
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer
- $23.00/hour starting wage
- $24.00/hour after 3 months
- Time and a half after 44 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, full-time position
