ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY The DZ Drivers is responsible for the transportation, delivery, installation, and removal of tent structures and rental equipment from event sites around the GTA and Southern Ontario. We are looking for a recent driver who is starting their career and wants to gain experience or a seasoned driver wo wants to do more than drive transports every day. You will operate a straight truck or a truck and moffett combination with 25ft trailer to transport and deliver tent structures to event sites.

DZ Drivers work under the direction of the Operations Manager. They are paid on an hourly basis and typically work 44+ hours/week, with some weekend work also required. The position also involves being an integral part of the warehouse team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Setup and take down of rental items at event sites
- Delivery and Pickup of rental items
- Assist with the loading and Unloading of trucks
- Cleaning and maintenance of rental equipment




- Complete truck inspection log to ensuring safety and road worthiness as per ministry of transportation requirement
- Maintain logs of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
- Communicate to supervision about customer concerns, rental equipment issues or service delays
- No tent installation experience necessary, we provide training

YOU HAVE

- Construction/carpentry experience is an asset
- Previous tent installation experience is an asset
- A valid DZ Licence with a clean abstract
- Truck Driving experience of 5+ years
- CVOR Experienced is a must
- Lift Truck/Moffett Certified is preferred
- Effective written and oral English communication skills
- A strong safety-first mindset
- A professional/mature demeanor with customers when under stressful conditions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and long hours when required
- Able to work effectively as part of a professional team
- Able to work with little supervision
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to lift up to 50lbs

THE BENEFITS

- Position: Full time
- Hourly Rate of $25-$35/hr
- Paid overtime after 44 hrs/week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
- Start Date: Immediate
- Full tent installation and safety training provided
