Full-Time Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA)

MUST HAVE A VALID BC ECEA LICENCE TO APPLY

Tiny Hoppers South Surrey is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) to join our team!

We are seeking someone who is passionate about working with young children, has a positive attitude, and enjoys being part of a supportive and cooperative team.

Qualifications & Requirements

- MUST hold a valid BC ECEA Licence
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Previous childcare experience preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and behaviour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Good computer skills and ability to use digital communication platforms
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a busy childcare environment
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team

Key Responsibilities
- Assist ECE and Infant/Toddler educators with daily classroom routines and activities
- Support the planning,



preparation, and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Provide active supervision and ensure children's health and safety at all times
- Assist with classroom transitions, meals, diapering, and daily care routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Demonstrate initiative and support fellow educators without needing constant direction
- Follow centre policies, procedures, and licensing requirements
