Do you have a heart for children and a passion for creating a safe, loving, and engaging learning environment? Haven Childcare is a small Christian daycare seeking caring, dedicated, and qualified educators to join our team!

At Haven Childcare, we believe every child is unique, special, created by God, and incredibly valuable. We strive to provide high-quality childcare where children feel safe, loved, respected, and encouraged to grow.

We follow Alberta’s Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework, embracing play-based learning and allowing children’s interests to guide our activities and experiences. While we maintain a daily routine, we also value flexibility and respond to the individual needs, interests, and discoveries of the children each day.

As a small centre, we place a strong emphasis on small-group experiences, meaningful one-on-one interactions, and building genuine relationships with each child and family. Teaching love, kindness, and respect is an important part of our daily practice.

Essential Requirements

- Alberta Early Childhood Educator certification: Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Experience working with children.
- Strong English communication skills to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Openness to our Christian, faith-based program and a willingness to support the values we incorporate into our daily care.

Three Positions Available

- Casual Childcare Educator

- Hours vary according to the needs of the centre.
- Ideal for someone seeking flexible, variable hours.

2. Full-Time Childcare Educator
- A full-time position working as part of our childcare team.
- An opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families while contributing to our daily program.

Full-Time Lead Educator – Temporary Maternity Leave Coverage
- A full-time leadership position providing maternity leave coverage.
- We are seeking someone confident in leading the classroom, taking initiative, supporting the staff team, and planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom leadership skills are especially important.

All positions are anticipated to start in November 2026. Wages vary based on education and qualifications.
