Company: Superlift Material Handling Inc.
Location: Kitchener-Waterloo Area, Ontario
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (1–3 Days Per Week)
Work Location: On-site – Shop-Based Position
Superlift Material Handling Inc. is a growing manufacturer and supplier of specialized industrial lift trucks, engineered lifting equipment, and custom material handling solutions serving customers throughout North America and internationally.
We are looking for an experienced, mechanically inclined Forklift / Lift Truck Mechanic or Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team.
We welcome experienced, retired or semi-retired mechanics who would enjoy working as little as one day per week or up to three days per week. Full-time opportunities are also available.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting, and solving technical problems without the demands of a traditional field service position.
This is an in-shop position. No regular field service calls or travel to customer locations are required.
Our equipment includes electric pallet trucks, walkie stackers, powered platform trucks, hydraulic lifting systems, stainless steel lift trucks, and custom-engineered industrial equipment.
Unlike a traditional forklift service position, this role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of specialized and custom-built equipment.
Flexible Schedule – Retired Mechanics Welcome
We recognize that many experienced mechanics have retired or reduced their working hours but still enjoy working with equipment and solving mechanical problems.

- Retired and semi-retired mechanics are encouraged to apply.
- Full-time positions are also available.
- Indoor, shop-based work without regular customer service calls.
- Opportunity to remain active in the trade and work with interesting equipment.
- Your practical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities are more important to us than formal qualifications alone.
Whether you are looking for a full-time career or simply want to continue working a day or two each week, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
