Drive electrical systems design and implementation at Artemis Gold in Vancouver. This role focuses on overseeing complex engineering projects and supporting mine site infrastructure development. As an Electrical and Controls Project Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Manager - Capital Projects.
Your technical expertise in low and high voltage power systems is essential for the planning, execution, and commissioning of electrical projects. Collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams, you will ensure that projects align with safety and regulatory standards and are delivered on time and within scope. Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical infrastructure for process plant and operations
- Oversee high and low voltage electrical system designs
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests
- Manage PLC and HMI development integration
- Prepare technical specifications and tender packages Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or related field
- P.Eng. designation in British Columbia
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
- Proven experience in heavy industrial project development Utilize your electrical engineering skills to enhance operations at Artemis Gold's Blackwater Mine project.
