MF Electric is hiring journeyperson electricians and apprentices for commercial and government projects. We’re looking for dependable people who take pride in quality workmanship, work safely, and work well with others.

Journeyperson and apprentice pairs are encouraged to apply together. If you already work well as a team, we’d be pleased to hear from both of you. Individual applicants are also welcome.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on commercial and government projects.
- Complete conduit, wiring, panel, lighting, and equipment installations.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades.
- Follow safety procedures and government site security requirements.
- Journeypersons will provide guidance and supervision to apprentices.

Qualifications





- Journeyperson electrician certification or registration as an electrical apprentice.
- Commercial electrical experience; government project experience is an asset.
- Ability to obtain the security clearance required for government sites. MF Electric will coordinate the application and handle the paperwork. An existing clearance is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work well with others.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
