Responsibilities

- Assist classroom teachers with daily activities and routine
- Provide support for children with exceptionalities
- Model positive behavior and emotional regulation to the children
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children

Preferred shift hours

Monday - Friday mornings, 4 hours daily, some flexibility in start and end time.

Qualifications

- Experience working with children between the ages of 0-5 years old
- Post-Secondary education in Early Childhood Education, Autism & Behavioral Science, Child and Youth Work preferred
- Valid First Aid and CPR-C

-Up to date immunization record

- Required to have a clear Criminal Reference Check (CPIC) within the last 6 months The position has the potential to be extended beyond 3 months.

Job Types: Part time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $23.86-$27.86 per hour

- Kingston, ON K7M 6R8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
