English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor

We are seeking an experienced ESL Instructor to deliver engaging English language classes and help students develop practical communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver English language lessons for different proficiency levels.
- Teach speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to students' learning needs.
- Maintain attendance and assessment records.
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with academic staff to improve course delivery.

Qualifications

- Degree in English, Linguistics, Education, TESL, TESOL, or a related field.




- Minimum 3 years of English language teaching experience.
- TESL, TESOL, or relevant ESL teaching qualification.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Robust classroom management and communication skills.
- Experience teaching adult learners or international students is an asset.
- Familiarity with Canadian Language Benchmarks is an asset.

Working Conditions

Classes may be delivered in person, online, or through hybrid arrangements. Daytime, evening, or weekend availability may be required.

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
