Description The Cupar & District Nursing Home Inc., an affiliate of the SHA, is seeking a TEMPORARY FULL TIME OUT OF SCOPE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR who will be responsible for the operations of this 45 bed level 3 and 4 long-term care facility, located only 45 miles northeast of Regina.
The Executive Director is accountable for providing the overall direction,
control and coordination necessary for the effective/effective operation and continued quality relevancy of the Facility’s integrated services and programs within scope of an operating budget and policies/procedures approved by the Board of Cupar & District Nursing Home Inc. (Shalom).
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a degree in business or related education/experience, nursing or other health care profession and a minimum of 5 years of practical experience as an organizational leader. Must be familiar with accounting procedures including knowledge of SAGE 50 along with Microsoft Excel. Must have multi-faceted generalist skills in: labour relations; Public speaking; Long term care; Organization; and Personnel.
Knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements between CUPE, SAHO and SUN along with experience in the healthcare field would be an asset.
