Job Summary

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation and food handling protocols at all times
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service quality
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with health regulations




- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience

Experience

- Proven food service experience in a quick-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and order calculations
- Previous restaurant experience involving serving, upselling, and cash handling preferred
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and hospitality best practices
