CO-OP OPPORTUNITIES:

Embedded Tester Co-op

Test firmware and hardware on live gas detection instruments. You'll build test cases, run benches, and log and verify defects. This is a great fit for engineering/ applied science students.

Duties Include

- Conduct functional, performance, and regression testing of firmware and software.

- Perform hardware testing to validate system functionality under various conditions.

- Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, or inconsistencies using issue-tracking tools.





Assist in setting up test environments and ensuring accurate test execution.

- Prepare detailed test reports, highlighting findings and recommendations for software improvements.
- Work closely with software and hardware engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Computer Science Co-op

Work across the internal tools, data and web applications that keep manufacturing, service and sales running.

Duties Include

- Design, develop, and test web and mobile applications used for product configuration and management

- Set up, maintain, and manage build pipelines and development environments

- Re-architect existing internal tools (e.g., Production Software) into scalable, cloud-hosted systems

- Contribute to front-end development using React or React Native (or similar frameworks)

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices

- Participate in software testing, debugging, and validation

Product Quality Engineer Co-op

Support calibration, inspection and continuous improvement. You'll do root-cause analysis on products that must not fail. This is a great fit for engineering/ applied students students.

Duties Include

- Analyze returned products and RMA data to identify recurring failure modes and product quality trends.

- Perform root cause investigations using structured problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams,



and fault-tree analysis.
- Inspect, test, and document failed components, assemblies, and finished products.
- Maintain clear records of investigations, test results, conclusions, and recommended actions.
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and company leadership.

Application Engineer Co-op

Support calibration, inspection and continuous improvement. You'll do root-cause analysis on products that must not fail. This is a outstanding fit for engineering/ applied students students.

Duties Include

- Review plans & project specifications received from customers
- Design Gas Detection systems for a wide variety of applications & prepare quotes for customers
- Create project drawings quotes & submittals packages for dealers and engineers
- Provide post-sale technical & installation support for projects you design
- Share insights with the broader CET team and provide input on product direction

Sales Co-op

Learn technical sales from the inside: quotes, customer research and applications support for distributors worldwide.

Duties Include

- Identify prospective dealers & distributors in target markets

- Call and qualify dealers, conveying CET’s value proposition

- Setup meetings for RSMs/Sr. Leaders to sign-up dealers

- Track all activities in HubSpot
- Share learnings & insights with colleagues & teammates
