Presidential Management Group (PMG) is looking for a reliable and hardworking Exterior Maintenance & Janitorial Labourer to join our team.

This position is primarily focused on keeping our properties clean, tidy, safe, and well maintained.

The majority of the work will involve exterior grounds and building upkeep, cleaning, garbage removal, seasonal maintenance, and general property care.

There will also be some minor maintenance and general labour tasks.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, notices things that need attention, is comfortable working outdoors, and enjoys a job where every day can be a little different.

Responsibilities

Exterior Property & Grounds – Primary Focus

- General upkeep of building exteriors, grounds, and common areas
- Lawn and landscaping upkeep
- Weeding, trimming, pruning, and general yard cleanup
- Seasonal property maintenance
- Snow removal and ice management
- Pressure washing and exterior cleaning
- Cleaning sidewalks, entrances, parking areas, patios, and other exterior spaces
- Picking up garbage, leaves, debris, and other materials
- Maintaining clean, tidy, and presentable properties
- Checking properties for areas that need attention and reporting deficiencies
- Assisting with improvement projects

Janitorial & General Cleaning

- Cleaning common areas and building spaces
- Cleaning and preparing vacant rental suites
- Suite clean-outs and garbage removal
- Carpet cleaning
- Cleaning entrances, hallways, stairwells, and other common areas
- Moving furniture, appliances, garbage, and materials as required




- Helping prepare suites and properties for new tenants
- General cleanup following maintenance or construction work

Minor Maintenance & General Labour

- Basic tasks such as changing light bulbs and replacing basic hardware
- Minor patching, touch-ups, and painting
- Assisting with simple repairs and property projects
- Helping tradespeople when required
- Moving materials and equipment
- Other general labour and odd jobs as needed

Requirements

- Reliable, hardworking, and dependable
- Comfortable working primarily outdoors and in all seasons
- Comfortable performing cleaning, yard work, garbage removal, and general property upkeep
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, bending, standing, climbing stairs, and performing manual labour
- Comfortable working from a ladder when required
- Valuable attention to detail and pride in keeping properties clean and well maintained
- Able to work independently and take direction
- Willing to learn basic maintenance and property-related skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Own reliable transportation required
- Previous experience in landscaping, janitorial work, property maintenance, construction, or general labour is an asset

This is a hands-on position with a strong focus on exterior property care, cleaning, and general upkeep.
