About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, your time will be split between our two primary sites:

- Retail Garden Centre located in Greenbryre.
- Production Greenhouse & Equipment Shop located on an acreage just 10 minutes west of SaskTel Centre.

The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to address various tasks efficiently. This role is essential for maintaining the functionality and appearance of facilities, greenhouses, grounds, and equipment remain safe, clean, and in fully functional working order. No two days are the same. Your versatility, craftsmanship, and attention to detail help keep our facilities running smoothly and create a vibrant, safe, and beautiful environment that our team and customers love.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance across greenhouses, operational facilities, and outdoor grounds.
- Conduct regular maintenance, including greenhouse gutter cleaning, plastic roof repairs, and general building and operational maintenance as required.
- Operate and safely maintain hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, structural, and general maintenance issues as they arise.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas across both property locations.
- Execute seasonal outdoor and indoor tasks under varying weather conditions.

Qualifications & Skills

- Valid Driver’s License & Vehicle (required for regular travel between work sites).
- Preferred background or experience in building maintenance, renovations, construction,



or related skilled trades.
- Comfort working at heights using ladders and/or lifts.
- Robust troubleshooting, practical mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while prioritizing daily tasks efficiently.
- Excellent time management, organization, and a dependable work ethic.

Maintenance Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

- Frequent physical activity including lifting heavy materials, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all Saskatchewan seasonal weather conditions.
- Comfort and safety compliance when working elevated on ladders and greenhouse structures.
- Exposure to dust, operational noise, construction materials, and common cleaning chemicals.
- Monday to Friday schedule with potential need for evenings, weekends, or on-call duties as operational needs require during peak seasons.
