Family Lawyer Opportunity | Full-Time | North York / Toronto

Kazandji Law is a growing firm seeking a family lawyer with at least three years of family law experience to join our team.

The successful candidate will manage files independently, communicate clearly with clients, and confidently represent them in court, negotiations, and settlement discussions. We focus on practical advice, strong advocacy, and cost-effective resolutions through negotiation, mediation, and litigation.

Requirements

- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Minimum three years of family law experience.
- Ability to manage files independently with limited supervision.
- Strong drafting, advocacy, negotiation, research, and client management skills.
- Sound knowledge of Ontario family law and court procedures.
- Experience appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.
- Trial experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Clio, DivorceMate, Word, and Outlook is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Manage family law files from consultation through settlement or trial.




- Advise on separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic contracts.
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, conference briefs, factums, motion materials, and agreements.
- Represent clients at conferences, motions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Conduct legal research, develop case strategies, and negotiate settlements.
- Maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and keep clients informed.
- Work with colleagues and external professionals to advance clients’ interests.

Pay: $80,000.00-$125,000.00 per year

- Family law: 2 years (required)
