Line Cook – Whamburg (Windsor, ON)

Whamburg is a fast-paced smash burger restaurant serving fresh, made-to-order burgers, fries, and shakes. We're looking for a reliable, energetic Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help us deliver great food, fast.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Cook smash burgers, chicken, fries, and other menu items to Whamburg recipe and quality standards
- Operate the flat-top grill, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Prep ingredients, sauces, and toppings before and during service
- Assemble orders accurately and consistently, following portion and presentation guidelines
- Keep ticket times quick without sacrificing quality
- Follow all food safety, handwashing, and sanitation standards
- Monitor product freshness, label and date items, and rotate stock (FIFO)
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift
- Complete opening, closing, and cleaning tasks as assigned
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house team members and the shift lead
- Report low stock, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the manager on duty
- Support the team during busy periods,



including helping at other stations when needed

Qualifications

- Previous kitchen or QSR experience is an asset, but we will train the right person
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-heat environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-first mindset
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.95-$18.25 per hour
