IMPERIAL SEED – FIELD REPRESENTATIVE

(NORTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN)

Imperial Seed Ltd. is a forage, turf and cover crop seed company. Our primary focus is the production and multiplication of pedigreed forage and turf seed across Western Canada. As our business continues to grow, we are looking to add another Field Representative to our team. This team member will be based in Northeast Saskatchewan, covering our production territories along and north of the #16 highway.

The ideal candidate will

- Be self-motivated and energetic
- Have excellent interpersonal skills (in both written and verbal communication)
- Have a positive outlook and eagerness to learn
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Be interested in seed production systems, processed
- Have post-secondary education in Agriculture or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of Agriculture/Seed Production Experience
- Have a minimum of Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Able to comfortably lift 55lbs bags

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop strong working relationships with staff, growers and government/trade contacts.
- Assist in the management of Western Canada seed production (including travel throughout production area)
- Contract acres with established growers; recruit and develop new growers.
- Source common seed for various species as required.
- Provide agronomic support to contracted growers throughout the crop year.
- Attend relevant producer meetings and trade shows.
- Maintain contact with producers- with regular onsite visits to production fields.




- Keep up to date with technological advances and innovation within the industry.
- Assist with communicating processing information and results to producers.

Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Experience:
- Agriculture: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:
- Class 5 License (required)

Willingness to travel:
- Regular scouting of production fields through spring/summer/fall, primarily north of Highway 16 in Northern/Northeastern Saskatchewan
- Attend trade shows, conferences and seed schools throughout Western Canada
- Attend regular meetings at facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba (8-10 times a year)

Work Location: Home / Based in Northeast Saskatchewan Application deadline: 2026-11-22

Expected start date: 2027-01-02

Pay: $60,000.00-$67,500.00 per year
