: Our client is seeking an Operations Officer III to join a growing back-office operations team supporting high-volume transaction and transfer processing. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a leading financial institution, gain exposure to investment products, and build a long-term career within financial services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and managing transfers while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

- Process 50 to 100 transfers and transactions daily with a high level of accuracy.
- Review, validate, and complete financial transfer requests.
- Handle and respond to escalations from sales teams and front-end staff.
- Ensure all transactions are completed within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor and resolve processing issues while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records and follow regulatory and organizational procedures.
- Work independently on daily operational activities and collaborate with team members when required.
- Utilize Microsoft 365 applications to support reporting, communication, and workflow management.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.

Experience:





- Must have 2+ years of experience within a banking or financial institution environment.
- Must have experience with transfers and transaction processing.
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to meet productivity and service-level targets.
- Experience working in back-office operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of investment products such as GICs, stocks, and mutual funds is required.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.

Education: Post-secondary certification or equivalent education. Certifications: CSC (Canadian Securities Course) or IFIC certification.
