Financial Reporting InternPurposeProvide support to the Financial Reporting team during the year-end annual audit and reporting cycle, and support recurring reporting activities, with a focus on reporting preparation, reconciliations and process documentation activities. You will work on the annual consolidated financial statements, MD&A; and related Canadian and U.S. securities filings of a dual-listed public company.Scope of workAssist with preparing supporting schedules and working papers for consolidation and note disclosuresAssist with recurring reporting schedules and data pulls from the ERP systemsSupport Workiva document updates, roll-forwards, tie out figures across financial statements, MD&A;, press release and other reporting activitiesSupport external auditor requests and PBC trackingSupport documentation of reporting processes, controls and quarter/year-end proceduresAssist with ad hoc financial reporting and accounting analysis as requiredWhat you will gainHands-on experience with a public company's annual reporting cycle, from close through filingExposure to IFRS reporting,



Workiva and working with external auditorsPractical experience relevant to the CPA designation, with coaching from experienced reporting professionalsCandidate profileRecent graduate in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldSolid understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statementsStrong Excel skills. The successful candidate will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement and comply with the Company’s confidentiality, insider-trading and related policies.This is currently a 3 month contract role with the possibility of an extension.
