GAS FIREPLACE INSTALLER

My Fireplace is a growing, family-owned and operated company with over 30 years of experience in the fireplace and HVAC industry. We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused Gas Fireplace Installer to join our team on a full-time basis.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have experience installing gas fireplaces; however, we are willing to train the right individual who has the appropriate qualifications, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Required Qualifications

- Valid G2 Gas Technician license — required
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
- Clean/reliable driver’s abstract
- Previous gas fireplace installation experience is an asset
- Working at Heights training is an asset
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Professional appearance and positive attitude

Key Responsibilities
- Install gas fireplaces and related products safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard
- Complete installations in accordance with manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and company standards
- Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
- Explain proper operation, maintenance,



and care of fireplace equipment to homeowners
- Provide a professional and courteous customer experience at every appointment
- Collect customer payments on site when required
- Complete work orders, paperwork, and other required documentation accurately
- Submit completed paperwork daily in accordance with company procedures
- Represent My Fireplace in a skilled, knowledgeable, and customer-service-oriented manner
