Clear Health Group is looking for a qualified First Aid Instructor based in Kelowna or the surrounding area to deliver on-site workplace First Aid training for businesses throughout the Okanagan and BC Interior.

This is a casual, on-call position with no guaranteed hours. Training days are scheduled based on client bookings and instructor availability. This role is ideal for an experienced instructor looking to add occasional training days to their existing schedule.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who makes First Aid training practical, interactive and enjoyable. You should be comfortable working with different personalities and workplace groups, adapting your teaching style and keeping participants involved throughout the day.

You’ll also represent Clear Health Group at our clients’ workplaces. We want someone who takes pride in delivering a great experience, builds strong relationships and helps earn repeat business through excellent service. You should be comfortable asking satisfied clients for reviews and identifying opportunities to introduce our other workplace health services.

What We Provide

- $32/hour
- Paid travel time to and from client locations
- Mileage reimbursed at the current CRA prescribed rate
- All required First Aid training equipment and course materials

Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site Basic and Intermediate First Aid training
- Keep instruction practical, engaging and relevant to each workplace
- Lead classroom discussions and hands-on exercises
- Set up and organize training equipment and materials
- Complete required course documentation accurately
- Deliver courses in accordance with applicable BC standards and program requirements
- Build relationships with client contacts and participants
- Identify future training needs and repeat-booking opportunities
- Ask satisfied clients for reviews and feedback
- Introduce other Explicit Work services when relevant to a client’s needs
- Represent Clear Health Group professionally at every client site

Qualifications
- Current First Aid Instructor credentials applicable to the courses being delivered
- Previous First Aid instruction experience preferred
- Strong communication, presentation and people skills
- An engaging, approachable teaching style
- An interest in helping grow our workplace training services
- Professional, reliable and able to work independently
- Valid BC driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Okanagan and BC Interior, with assignments coordinated around availability
- Weekday availability

Experience training employees in construction, manufacturing, industrial, healthcare or other workplace environments is an asset.

Pay: From $32.00 per hour
