Floating Pharmacist

Silver Suite is a growing healthcare hub offering integrated pharmacy and home healthcare services. We are looking for a responsive, enthusiastic, and adaptable Pharmacist to join our dynamic operations team.

This is a unique opportunity to work across our pharmacy network, providing coverage and supporting different teams and patient populations. Our pharmacies are located in Burlington, Scarborough, London, and Ottawa, with the majority of shifts based in Burlington and occasional coverage required at our other locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Practice in accordance with all applicable provincial and federal legislation, standards, and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, registered pharmacy technicians, and other pharmacy team members to ensure medications are prepared and dispensed accurately, safely, and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, identifying and addressing potential concerns and communicating with prescribers as required.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to prepare Best Possible Medication Histories (BPMHs) for newly admitted patients.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and complete patient/resident health records, ensuring appropriate documentation of clinical and medication-related information.
- Provide excellent communication and service to patients, residents,



healthcare professionals, and pharmacy team members.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education, remaining current with pharmaceutical, medical, regulatory, and professional practice standards.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to adapt to different pharmacy environments and operational needs.
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Strong clinical knowledge and sound professional judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with members of the healthcare team.
- Flexible, dependable, and comfortable working across multiple pharmacy locations.
- Experience with Kroll Windows is preferred.
- Experience working with eMAR systems is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation, with the ability and willingness to travel between locations as required.

Pay: $105,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
