Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and sanitation standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, counters, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling procedures, including proper storage, portioning, and serving techniques
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; we’re happy to train motivated individuals
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register platforms
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a food industry setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience in serving or cashier roles within the food industry is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining a positive attitude
