Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, packaging,



or assembling ingredients as needed.
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Support team members in maintaining an organized workspace and stock levels for smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Robust time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that creates positive guest interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Willingness to learn about upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively.
