Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, providing correct change and receipts while maintaining cash handling security.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and customer service zones in compliance with food safety regulations.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or salads, ensuring efficiency during peak hours.
- Support team members by coordinating tasks smoothly and communicating effectively to ensure seamless service delivery.

Experience

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred; familiarity with serving in fast-paced environments is a plus.
- Experience with cashiering, including operating POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures within the food industry.
- Robust time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and processing transactions confidently.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude that promotes guest satisfaction.
- Kitchen or food industry experience that demonstrates an understanding of food preparation and handling standards is advantageous.
