We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food Service & Store Associate. This role is responsible for supporting daily food service and store operations, including food preparation and cooking, customer service, POS transactions, stocking, receiving and organizing products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong English communication skills, be comfortable performing a variety of food service and store-related tasks, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule

- Work Days: Saturday – Wednesday
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Days Off: Thursday & Friday
- Meal Break: 30-minute unpaid break
- Overtime: May be required as needed

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and cook a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards
- Perform food preparation tasks such as washing, cutting, portioning, seasoning, frying, grilling, baking, and other cooking methods as required
- Operate the POS system and process customer transactions accurately
- Assist customers with purchases and provide friendly and courteous service
- Stock and display products, ensuring shelves and store areas are clean and organized
- Monitor inventory and restock products and ingredients as needed
- Receive, organize, and store incoming products and supplies
- Prepare and deliver food to a nearby company break room on foot as needed




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and food service areas
- Clean and maintain the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces
- Dispose of garbage and maintain proper cleanliness throughout the workplace
- Follow proper food handling, health, and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- A valid Food Handler Certificate
- Strong English communication skills
- Reliable transportation

Skills

- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is an asset
- Korean language skills are an asset
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate a POS system and handle customer transactions accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform a variety of food service and store-related tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
