About Us

Bagels on Fire is a Montreal-style bagel shop specializing in authentic, wood-fired Montreal-style bagels. We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our bakery team!

No previous baking experience is required. We’re happy to train someone who is eager to learn, follows instructions, and is willing to work hard.

Job Responsibilities

- Bake Montreal-style bagels in a traditional wood-fired oven.
- Assist with daily bagel production and bakery preparation.
- Follow recipes and established baking procedures.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Lift and move trays, dough, and bakery supplies as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production needs.

Qualifications
- No previous baking experience required — full training will be provided.
- Must be reliable, punctual,



and dependable.
- Must be willing to learn and take direction.
- Must be available for early morning shifts, as this is a bakery position.
- Must be flexible and willing to adjust to changing production needs and schedules.
- Comfortable with physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods, lifting trays and supplies, and working in a hot bakery environment.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits
- $17.95 per hour plus tips.
- Approximately $200–$300 in cash tips per biweekly pay period, depending on sales and shifts worked.
