Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met

- Maintain cleanliness in all food preparation and service areas by cleaning counters, utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment regularly
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist with inventory management by receiving deliveries, storing supplies properly, and monitoring stock levels
- Support meal planning and portioning to meet dietary needs and preferences of residents or clients




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy hours while managing time effectively

Skills

- Prior experience in the food industry is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good understanding of sanitation practices, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety protocols
- Effective time management skills to ensure timely meal delivery and adherence to schedules
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift supplies, and perform cleaning duties as needed
