THIS POSITION WILL REPORT TO THE GENERAL MANAGER

POSITION WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

· Recruit, train, schedule and supervise food services staff.

· Prepare and cook meals, and assist with catering for private functions.

· Coordinate food service operations, menus, costing, budgets and ordering.

· Manage inventory, reduce waste and provide monthly inventory reports.

· Provide excellent customer service and process cash and POS transactions.

· Maintain clean food service areas, equipment and safe food handling practices.

POSITION START DATE: ASAP

RATE OF PAY AND BENEFITS: $20.02 per hour plus benefits

(Position is a union position: CUPE Local 900)

WORK SCHEDULE

Seasonal. Must be available for days, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

FURTHER CRITERIA FOR APPLICANT





· Food Secure Level 1 certification; Level 2 preferred.

· 5 years of cooking experience

· 5 years of customer service experience.

· 3 years of cash management experience.

· Proven supervisory, training, communication and organizational skills.

· Proficient with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and POS systems.

· Valid BC driver’s licence and completion of a Criminal Record Check.

· Ability to work independently and in a team, manage competing demands and perform the physical duties of the role.
